Christmas at the pub begins
here’s a moment every year when the pub starts to feel a little more magical. The lights are twinkling, the fires are glowing, the first festive drinks are being poured and Christmas is officially on its way.
From 19 November, our festive menu arrives at The Artichoke, bringing all the flavours of the season to the table. Whether it’s the first Christmas catch-up of the year, a long-overdue get-together or simply an excuse to settle in somewhere cosy, this is where the festivities begin.
Christmas starts at the pub. And there’s always room at our table.
10th December
Carols at the pub
There are few things that feel quite as Christmassy as carols, a cosy pub and a room full of people singing together.
Join us at the feathers for a wonderfully festive evening of Christmas carols, good company and plenty of festive cheer. Bring the family, gather your friends, grab a drink from the bar and sing along to some of the songs that make this time of year so special.
A simple Christmas tradition, and one of our favourite evenings of the festive season.
19th Nov - 24th Dec
The big red postbox
Christmas is about giving a little joy as well as receiving it. Our Big Red Post Box will be arriving at The Artichoke this festive season, ready for some very special post.
Little ones can write their Christmas wishes to Father Christmas, or create a Christmas card for someone in a local care home to help spread a little festive cheer beyond the pub.
A small gesture, a little bit of Christmas magic and hopefully plenty of smiles along the way.
